A Safe Place for Young People
The Youth Work at St Paul Old Ford aims to provide a safe and secure environment in which young people can be themselves! We aim to model lives of integrity, provide a listening ear and encourage young people throughout their adolescence.
We are ever striving to make sure that young people are as safe and cared for as possible. All of our leaders are DBS checked and have undergone safeguarding training. We also have a trained first aider and first aid box available at all youth clubs.
To make sure that the young people are as safe as possible during our activities a ‘Young Persons Membership Form’ needs to be completed by their parent or carer. You can download this form here, or fill one in at the Church.
If you would like to have an informal chat with a cup of tea (or coffee!) and find out how your child is getting on within their chosen Youth Activity, please do get in contact with our full-time Youth Worker, Dan.
In October 2013 the Diocese of London Children’s Charter was awarded to St Paul Old Ford. This award is in recognition of the welcoming place we already are for children, but also of our hope for children and young people to continue to play a key part in the life of St Paul’s.
