Safeguarding Requirements for Hirers
At St Paul Old Ford, we are committed to creating a safe environment for children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All organisations and individuals hiring our premises are required to read and agree to the safeguarding requirements below. By proceeding with a booking, you confirm your acceptance of these requirements.
At St Paul Old Ford, we are committed to promoting a safer environment for children, young people, and vulnerable adults. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility.
As a condition of hiring our premises, all hirers agree to:
- Conduct their activities in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
- Take all reasonable steps to prevent abuse, harm, neglect, or exploitation.
- Comply with all applicable safeguarding legislation and guidance relevant to their organisation and activities.
- Ensure that any staff, volunteers, or leaders working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults are appropriately recruited, trained, supervised, and, where required, DBS checked.
- Immediately report any safeguarding or health and safety concerns arising during the hire period to the appropriate authorities and, where relevant, to St Paul Old Ford.
- Cooperate with any safeguarding requirements, instructions, or investigations relating to activities taking place on the premises.
By making a booking and using the facilities of St Paul Old Ford, the hirer confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with these safeguarding requirements.
