At the heart of the local community for 140 years, we offer a variety of rooms for hire, and with our dedicated venue management team, you can be assured of a high quality of service.
Whether you are looking for a small intimate space, a large space with award-winning architecture, or something in between, we have a variety of rooms that can be tailored to fit your requirements. With our onsite community cafe we can also provide fresh, delicious food for all your events.
Combined Space
The Worship Space and Meeting Hall together create the Combined Space. By removing the partition wall that separates them, the unique qualities of both spaces come together, to give greater possibilities. This is the largest space we have and can be effortlessly transformed to create your vision. Suitable for public consultations, lectures, rehearsals, training days, mehndis and other parties.
Worship Space
This unique space at the heart of the building is easily tailored to meet a variety of requirements. Large windows fill the space with natural light and the award winning architecture makes this a creative space to hold your event. Suitable for conferences, public consultations, away days, rehearsals, or mehndis and other parties.
Capacity: dependant on layout, maximum 150 standing
Size of room: 15 metres by 12.5 metres
Meeting Hall
The meeting hall is a blank canvas complete with a heated floor, making it a comfortable, uncomplicated space that can be altered for both formal and informal events. Suitable for children’s parties, meetings, presentations, exercise classes and small receptions.
Capacity: 40 seated, 50 standing.
Size of room: 7.2 metres by 7.3 metres
Garden Room
Tucked away at the end of the building, the Garden Room offers a tranquil meeting space for small group meetings, mindfulness classes, interviews, recitals or as a breakaway space from a larger meeting.
Capacity: 8 to 10 seated
Size of room: 3.8 metres by 3.8 metres
Cafe
A space with lots of character and furnished with a children’s play corner, the café is a brilliant space for small gatherings. The café is popularly hired in conjunction with the Meeting Hall for children’s parties. Suitable for small parties, dinner parties and informal meetings.
Capacity: 30 seated, 50 standing
Size of room: 6.6 metres by 8.7 metres
Tower Room
The Tower Room is a calm and peaceful circular space, perfect for private discussions and counselling sessions. Available free of charge for short meetings when food is purchased from our café, or at a very reasonable rate.
Capacity: 4 to 6 seated
Size of room: 8.5 square metres
