National day of reflection at St Paul’s

The Church of England is supporting the national day of reflection on 23 March, and so are we at St Paul Old Ford.

Tuesday is the first anniversary of the UK national lockdown and we will be thinking and praying about the tragic loss of life and the trauma of the past year of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The church will be open from 11am to 1pm for prayer and reflection.

From 11am to noon, we will meet for socially distanced prayer and reflection. You can light a candle if you would like to.

At noon, we’ll observe a minute’s silence and ring the church bell.

After that, we will return to prayer and reflection again until 1pm.

You are welcome to come to the church, but please wear a mask, use the hand sanitiser provided and observe social distancing.
